Improved email signatures set for implementation
Posted on: Jun 24, 2016
IT and Marketing will be rolling out new email signatures over the course of next week.
In the past, the email signature has been a static embedded image that sometimes worked and sometimes did not. The new email signature is formatted to be mobile-friendly, is HTML-based, draws your contact information from Concordia's employee database (the same one behind "Find A Person"), and should always appear for your recipients. Here’s an example of what it will look like:

As an HTML-based signature, certain elements will be clickable:
-
your name – opens a new email addressed to you
-
the logo and URL – opens our website
-
each of the icons – directs to CUE’s social media accounts.
There are couple of things that you should note:
-
This will be a uniform change across the board.
-
Any personalization to your current signature will disappear.
-
If your contact information appears incorrectly, please contact HR to have the database corrected.
-
If required, you will be able to add information, such as a cell phone number to the signature. Please contact the IT Services Help Desk if you have any questions on this.
-
Please keep edits to the signature to a minimum in order to maintain our brand identity.
