Join us for an honest and thought provoking conversation.
Concordia University College of Alberta’s fledgling School of Theology, Ethics and Leadership is privileged to host Carl Medearis – international expert in Arab-American and Muslim-Christian relations – to speak on how people of different religions can come to a greater understanding.
Carl works to encourage peace, and to bring reconciliation between religious groups. He is the author of the acclaimed book Muslims, Christians and Jesus, and acts as a catalyst for a number of current movements in the Middle East to promote cultural, political and religious dialog. He lived in Lebanon for 12 years and continues to make multiple trips to the region every year, where he has access to high ranking leaders from various camps. This makes him a highly sought after expert in the fields of Muslim-Christian and Arab-American relations, as well as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
