Recommend a Purchase

Current CUE students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to recommend books, videos, and other materials that support teaching, learning, and research at CUE.

Library purchases depend on:

  • The items relevance to teaching and research at CUE
  • Available funds
  • Item cost
  • Similar holdings in the collection

How to Recommend a Purchase
1. Search the CUE Library catalogue to ensure that we do not already own the item.
2. Fill out the Recommend a Purchase form.
3. The Library’s collections team will consider your recommendation.
4. You will be notified about the decision.

Please Note:

  • There is no guarantee that a recommended item will be purchased.
  • Orders are sent out as quickly as possible. If you need the item by a specific date, please indicate that in the form.
  • You must enter your Concordia email address when making a recommendation. Recommendations made without a Concordia email address will not be considered.
