Meet Your Peer Supporters
My name is Christian, and I am a team lead with the CUE Peer Support Program. Heading into my 3rd year as a part of the team, I am looking forward to working with you to promote a healthy and safe campus for students.
I am a Dual Degrees student in Science and Management, and I am also a member of the CSA’s General Council as the Faculty of Management Representative. My interests include sports, listening to music, and travelling.
Let’s make CUE’s 100th year a memorable one!
My name is Matthew and I’m in my second year of university. I am majoring in psychology and minoring in education.
I am looking to attain my PhD in clinical psychology, so that I can become a psychotherapist.
I joined peer support to help students feel heard on campus. I want to be able to give them a voice and a listening ear.
Hi! I’m Mayrane – May for short – and I’m a Brazilian living on Canada’s snowy land for almost three years. I’m on my third year of the BA of Psychology at Concordia and in the future, I plan on becoming a counsellor.
I wanted to be a part of the Peer Support because I can see how university can be extremely challenging by itself, let alone with everything else that students have to deal with! Grades, time managing, work, family, friends…argh! Sometimes it can become too much. That’s why I wanted to be here to support my fellow students at the best of my abilities. Oh, and FYI, I love the snow with all my heart! <3
My name is Becca and I am a fifth year psychology student at CUE. My spare time is dominated by my two very needy cats, Winston and Dorothy.
Some of my quarantine hobbies include learning to rollerblade, relearning the piano, and training to run the 2021 Edmonton Servus marathon.
When I grow up I want to be a trauma counsellor, specifically focusing on first responders.
