Thursday, September 10, 2015 – 5 to 7:30 p.m. – Robert Tegler Student Centre
Companies can be faced with R&D challenges based on factors such as manpower, facilities, equipment, and expertise. The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) is a federal agency that supports scientific research and innovation. The NSERC Partnerships program (click on text in square brackets for website) supports R&D collaboration between universities and private business. The program connects university research teams with private businesses to tackle industry-driven short-term and long-term projects. Funding from NSERC plus access to university research facilities and equipment can significantly reduce your R&D project costs.
Supported by well-equipped and specialized facilities, Concordia’s Faculty of Science has engaged and responsive faculty members mentoring highly motivated and career-focused students. These students contribute to the success of your projects and also gain invaluable workplace experience.
The Fall 2015 Faculty-Industry Mixer provides an informal way to learn about Concordia’s Faculty of Science and the NSERC Partnership program – and may be the cost-effective and efficient solution to your R&D needs.
