Human Resouces Coordinator

Do you have 2-4 years’ experience in HR and are looking to take the next step in your career?  If so, the Human Resources Department of Concordia University of Edmonton invites applications for the position of Human Resources Coordinator. 
Reporting to the HR Director, this full-time position will work closely with all levels of Concordia by providing HR support to Concorida’s various stakeholders.  This would include but not limited to:
  • Recruitment and selection,
  • Onboarding employees,
  • Handling general inquiries,
  • Job classification,
  • HR reporting,
  • Records management,
  • Website maintenance,
  • HRIS updates,
  • Backup payroll;
  • Related processes as required.   
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • An undergraduate degree or diploma
  • 2-4 years direct HR experience.
  • Working towards your CHRP designation would be considered an asset.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple project deadlines.
  • Experience administering employee benefits program.
  • Strong communication and written skills, with a customer service attitude.
  • Able to maintain confidential information and manage information within privacy regulations.
  • Experience with Avanti would be considered an asset.
