Education 501 – EDUC501
Introduction to Planning in the Elementary School – 6 (4-2-0)
The theoretical perspectives that influence the design and implementation of elementary school programs. The principles and practices of yearly, unit, and lesson plans. Students will design units and lessons suitable for implementation in an elementary school. The laboratory section of the course focuses on the infusion of technology and its application to digital program planning. Open only to students in the Bachelor of Education (After Degree) program.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The appointment is for the Fall semester with an average of approximately 6 contact hours per week.The ideal candidate would possess a graduate degree in Education and have an interest in teaching senior-level undergraduates. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority.
