This past weekend the Thunder took to the road, heading up to Grande Prairie to face the GPRC Wolves in the first set of back-to-backs against ACAC North opponents.

Thunder got off to a slow start in their first game, with some foul trouble hindering the rotation. However, the second half would be a different story with the Thunder taking it to the Wolves, outscoring them by 15 and finishing up with an 82-68 win.

On Saturday – after getting down by 7 early in the game – the Thunder stormed back taking a 4 point lead by the end of the first, a 15 point lead at half and ended the game with an 89-65.

The Thunder now head into the Christmas break as the #1 team in the ACAC North with a 6-3 record.

The Thunder’s next action will be in Lewiston, Idaho against Lewis-Clark State for a two game set over New Years.
