In a highly competitive, entertaining pair of games, the Thunder Men's Volleyball played highly competitive and entertaining games this past weekend with the Rustlers of Lakeland College.

With an enthusiastic crowd behind them, the Thunder pushed the Rustlers hard but came out on the short end of the 3-1 loss.
"Friday night the team competed hard, but the mistakes piled up and were the difference in a tight match," said Head Coach Joel Mrak.

On Saturday, the team travelled to Lloydminster to the always riotous Lakeland Gym. With their hometown crowd behind them, the Rustlers put the squeeze on the Thunder and took the match in straight sets (25-16, 25-22, 25-19).

The Thunder will wrap up first semester action with a home-and-home series with the SAIT Trojan. The Thunder will host on Friday, November 30 at the Ralph King Athletics Centre before heading south on Saturday, December 1 to conclude the weekend series at SAIT.
