Concordia University of Edmonton’s Biology and Environmental Science programs provide you with the opportunity to gain a greater appreciation for the role of science in today’s society. Through small lecture and lab sections that emphasize hands-on learning, students study the complexities of life and the challenges organisms face in our world’s changing environment.

Environmental Science is the study of interactions within ecosystems, both terrestrial and aquatic. As the world changes, scientists in this field are paramount to proactively assessing the implications and mitigating risks to the fauna and flora inhabiting those environments.

In studying Environmental Science, you will partake in discourse around the nature and characteristics of the major environmental issues prevalent in such environments.
