Concordia University of Edmonton’s Mathematical and Computing Sciences department is in a need of sessional instructor(s) to teach courses in Information Technology and Computing Science in Fall 2018 and Winter 2019.

Job description:

Teaching one or more of the following courses:

Fall 2018 CMPT 111 Introduction to Computing Science Mon, Wed, Fr 10:00-10:50
IT 101 Introduction to Information Technology Section A: Mon, Wed, Fr 13:00-13:50
Section B: Mon, Wed, Fr 15:00-15:50
  Friday 10:00-10:50
IT 302 Database Systems Mon, Fr 14:00-15:15
Winter 2019 IT 101 Introduction to Information Technology Section C: Mon, Wed, Fr 15:00-15:50
Section D: Mon, Wed, Fr 16:00-16:50
Friday 10:00-10:50
IT 210 Operating Systems Mon, Wed 14:00-15:15
IT 301 Digital Media Mon, Wed, Fr 11:00-11:50

Qualifications:

  • At least Master’s degree in closely related discipline is required, PhD is preferred
  • Must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching
  • Applications will only be considered from those eligible to work in Canada

Closing date:
