Assistant Professor-English

The Department of Literature & Language at Concordia University College of Alberta invites applications for an Assistant Professor of English to begin August 1, 2015, subject to budgetary approval; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate must be a generalist who is qualified to teach twentieth-century British literature in a transatlantic context; facility with Canadian and/or American literatures is desirable. An ability to teach expository writing is essential.
 
Requirements include a Ph.D. in English, demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching, and the ability to maintain an active research program.
 
Candidates must understand and support the Mission/Vision/Values Framework of Concordia.
