Research and Interests
Dr. Steffler’s expertise is in lifespan developmental psychology. Over the past ten years, her research interests included implicit learning, literacy, spelling and writing development. With a background in developmental psychology and Christian ministry, Dr. Steffler has recently developed a special interest in the study of meaning and spirituality from a developmental perspective. She is a member of the Executive Committee for the Canadian Centre of Scholarship and the Christian Faith and actively supports their annual interdisciplinary conference. She has supervised a number of undergraduate student research projects and encourages students to develop their own research portfolio.
