McElhone appointed Dean Mihalcheon School of Business

PaulMcElhone_Headshot2Concordia University College of Alberta is pleased to announce that Dr. Paul McElhone has been appointed to a five year term as the Dean of Management, Mihalcheon School of Business.

With over 25 years of experience in private sector and 17 years in post-secondary education, McElhone brings with him a wealth of leadership and administrative experience. Prior to coming to Concordia, McElhone was the Executive Director for the School of Retailing at the University of Alberta. He has also been a senior consultant and director of corporate sales in the private sector.

“We are extremely pleased to have found a candidate of Dr. McElhone’s stature to fill this key role,” said Gerald Krispin, President and Vice-chancellor.  McElhone’s research and teaching interests include marketing, ecommerce, branding, sales management, consulting and retailing.

Dr. McElhone holds a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and a Doctorate from the European School on Management (Sorbonne) in Paris.
