Women’s Soccer – A Tale of Two Cities

By Concordia on September 17, 2012 in Athletics

The Thunder women's soccer team faced off against the NAIT Ooks on Saturday in what may have been the toughest test of the season. Pushing right to the end, Concordia had chance after chance, but NAIT defended hard and the game ended in a 2-1 loss. But the Thunder bounced back, taking on the Keyano Huskies the following day. The Thunder staged an offensive onslaught against the Huskies with six shooters tallying nine goals on the way to a 9-0 victory.

The Thunder men and women hit the road for a game at King's on Saturday, September 22 before returning home on Sunday, September 23 to host the MacEwan Griffins.

Women play at noon – men play at 2 p.m.
